Factory / Production Manager

The Factory/Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and improving all production activities within the factory to ensure furniture projects are produced to specifications, delivered on schedule, and meet quality standards.
What you'll own
- —Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production; allocate manpower and resources; ensure adherence to schedules; prioritize urgent projects; monitor progress; minimize bottlenecks
- —Supervise Carpentry, Upholstery, Sewing, Metal Fabrication, Spraying & Finishing, Board Works, and Installation Preparation departments
- —Supervise managers, supervisors, and artisans; assign tasks; conduct daily meetings; train staff; enforce policies; build accountability
- —Ensure products meet specifications; inspect quality at every stage; reduce defects, rework, and wastage; collaborate with QC
- —Work with Project Managers to communicate progress and report delays; prepare completed projects for delivery
- —Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability; monitor usage; reduce waste and theft; ensure proper storage
- —Improve workflow, efficiency, output, and cost control
- —Enforce PPE, safe operations, and incident investigations
- —Prepare Daily Production Report, Weekly Factory Performance Report, Monthly Production Report, Delayed Projects Report, Material Wastage Report, Artisan Productivity Report, and Equipment Maintenance Report
What we need from you
- —Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant field
- —Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture or manufacturing management
- —Leadership and organizational skills
- —Production Planning expertise
- —Furniture Manufacturing knowledge
- —Quality Assurance experience
- —Project Coordination skills
- —Problem Solving ability
